We are hiring a Program Engineering Manager for our Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) division. In C4ISR Systems, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Engineering focal point for all activities within the project including strategic planning, bid and proposal efforts for technical content and strategy, integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management.

  • Provide overall project technical direction; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project.

  • Collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, and operation managers to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved.

  • Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.

  • Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Provide coordination between the engineering team, functional managers, and Product Line Directors, to ensure all necessary reviews are conducted and approvals are received.

  • Lead engineering teams and work with industry partners to introduce advance capabilities to end users.

  • Manage complex radio communication production efforts including ECPs, continuous improvement, RCCA investigations, and transition to production for both software and hardware development efforts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • At least 4 years experience in engineering development of complex electronic systems and transition to production

  • Project Engineering Management including organizational design planning, estimating, design management, and product verification

  • Strong team building skills that enable partnership and coordination within and across teams and functions.

  • Active Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Management (CAM)

  • Experience with AS9145 and requirements for advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)

  • Link 16 or communication systems domain knowledge

  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

  • Master s degree in Engineering or Science (MS)

  • Master s degree in business (MBA)

  • Agile and Scrum Certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $138120 - $234840

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
