IQVIA Mgr, Technical Writing in Wayne, Pennsylvania

Job Overview

Provides expert level technical writing support. Translates technical information for non-technical and technical users.

Work closely with the Product Offerings team, development, and relevant SMEs to ensure that the materials are accurate, business-relevant, user-friendly, and helpful to the end-user.

Essential Functions

• Manages the content aspects of specific company publications. Manages the activities of the technical writing staff. Works with functional departments to ensure timely development of data for inclusion in technical content and work schedules for meeting deadlines. Reviews content and data to ensure editorial, format consistency and technical accuracy. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.

•Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.

Drafts, develops, finalizes, and appropriately communicates technical content most commonly in the form of technical guides.

Maintains a proficient understanding of internal and external technology developments; communicates with appropriate subject matter experts to gather technical content needed to produce up to date documents; and utilizes related tools to develop polished and cohesive content (i.e. Madcap Flares, Confluence, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Req

Typically requires a minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience. Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $86,700.00 - $144,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
