Johnson Matthey Technical Program Manager in Wayne, Pennsylvania
Technical Program Manager, Johnson Matthey, Inc., Wayne, PA:
Lead technical programs in support of the GKAM strategy for customer(s) and in line with GNPI process. Design experiments to investigate the use of advanced catalyst technologies for vehicle applications. Respond to customer inquiries on product performance capabilities and, when necessary, organize experimental programs to resolve customer problems. Liaise with global/regional teams (e.g. Product/Process Development, Testing groups) to ensure technical activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. Communicate the results of the technical activities to customer(s), and to relevant stakeholders in the JM organization.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role in the Automotive industry.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Heterogeneous catalyst preparation, reactor testing and characterization
Export laboratory data from synthetic gas bench reactors, bench engine exhaust data, or vehicle exhaust data
Source and interpret various data from synthetic gas bench reactors, bench engine exhaust data, or vehicle exhaust data
Microsoft Suite programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Database programs such as National Instruments DIAdem or similar data processing software
Must be willing to travel domestically up to 10% of the time to visit client sites and JM offices, and attend conferences.
Up to 40% of telecommuting permitted (within Wayne, PA county).
