Aerotek Saw Operator in Waynesboro, Virginia

Description:

Operate automatic saw

· Keep accurate time sheets

· Move parts to the next operation

· Deburr all parts prior to moving to next operation

· Perform secondary operations such as reaming, tapping, and broaching

· Participate in continuous improvement projects

· Participate in 5S activities

· Setup the machining centers at the end of the shift to enhance the productivity of the next shift

Skills:

General labor, Assembly, Machine operating, Saw operation, production, machine operation, blueprint, Deburr, Tape measure

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Fit rods and covers to loader assemblies

· Complete “Engineering Change Forms” to document necessary modifications to parts and assemblies

· Straighten and square all parts prior to moving to next operation

· Blast parts using a glass bead or sandblasting cabinet

· Blast frames and sub-assembles in the Blast room

· Load and unload the vibratory tumblers as needed

· Passivate welds using citric acid

· Keep accurate time sheets

· Move parts to the next operation

· Deburr all parts prior to moving to next operation

· Participate in continuous improvement projects

· Participate in 5S activities

· Assist all manufacturing personnel with 2nd operations
