Description We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team located in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and attendance control for hourly employees, maintaining timesheets, attending weekly meetings, and creating and maintaining spreadsheets. Your ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment will be key in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and attendance control for hourly employees

• Maintain timesheets per job bids

• Attend and take notes at weekly meetings

• Create and maintain spreadsheets for data recording and transfer

• Proof-read documents to ensure accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Assist in data entry tasks. Requirements • Proficient in Data Entry tasks including updating and maintaining information on company databases and computer systems

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced Excel functions, and conduct data analysis

• Previous experience in a Human Resources or similar role is beneficial

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations would be advantageous

• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
