Mixlab Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in Weatherford, Texas
Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in our Texas pharmacy. We are looking for individuals who are obsessed with details and are driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and large animals no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our pharmacy operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.
Responsibilities:
Compound sterile medications, fill and label prescriptions, and package medications
Oversee activities of pharmacy technicians in accordance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations
Ensure proper workflow maintained and orders are shipped in a timely manner
Keep accurate records and monitor inventory levels in accordance with State Board of Pharmacy & DEA regulations and company policies and procedures
Ensure operational compliance with USP chapters 795, 797, and 800
Verify and ensure prescriptions are accurately prescribed and dispensed
Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features, participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics.
Counsel clients on different medications, needs, usages, and instructions.
Perform Care Pharmacist duties on an as needed basis
About You:
You are a licensed certified pharmacist in Texas, in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy
You have formal training in sterile compounding or equivalent experience
You have 2+ years of experience in sterile compounding, with preference given to veterinary compounding experience
Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you have incredibly high standards for accuracy and quality
You are collaborative and have a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment

Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay, our total compensation package for full-time employees includes benefits and equity.
