Leidos FGB Sustaining Support (NASA CMC) in Webster, Texas
Description
Leidos has an excellent opportunity on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) in support of OB programs. In this position, the employee will be located onsite at Johnson Space Center, Houston TX. Some domestic travel will be required.
FGB Sustaining Support- Primary Responsibilities
Support for ISS Vehicle Office Tasks
Provide support to NASA/OB for sustaining and development scope, including the Functional Cargo Block (FGB) module
Oversight of assigned Change Requests (CR) processed within the NASA system, including FGB CRs
Manifesting and logistics (eLRODS, launch identification, schedules, stowage, upmass)
Safety paperwork, hazard reports, and FITs
Sparing, consumables and facilities analysis, and life extensions
Coordinating Functional Cargo Block (FGB) related ground hardware (Ukrainian stand and Komparus sites) contracts, upgrades, and trade offs
Risk Mitigation controls
Address/coordinate issues with NASA organizations and International Partners
Other FGB sustaining support as needed (Scope Definition, associated documents, schedule, tradeoffs)
Integrated Tracking System (ITS) items for budget and scope request for ISS Vehicle Office Work Life Cycle
ISS and Vehicle Office Internal Risk Tracking systems items
Decision packages for change requests, risk/non-conformance acceptance, and funding changes
Ad Hoc reporting to management as required (chart packages, email, verbal reports)
COFR/SORR inputs for system/facility
Manage FGB sustaining (spares, manifesting, hardware certification products disposal, issue resolution)
US Citizenship or US Permanent residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree and 4+ years prior relevant experience, including:
Experience working with multi-discipline teams and customers both
Collaborator with excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience presenting technical and financial project status to large groups such as technical NASA boards
Strong trouble-skills with the ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges
Demonstrated focus on safety, quality while ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ISS processes for hardware development and certification, anomaly resolution, configuration management, quality assurance, design, requirements/verification, materials, safety, cargo processing, disposal, manifest, and hardware downgrade.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
