Job Description

The Sr. Product Marketing Leader is a critical role within the Evident Test & Measurement Global Product Management & Marketing (PMM) organization. Reporting to the Director, Global Product Marketing for the assigned business line and region, this senior leadership role is responsible for driving product marketing efforts, winning go-to-market strategy & tactical execution, customer demand, product vitality and sales growth for the assigned business line and region. The Sr. Product Marketing Leader is responsible for assigned product line(s) performance KPIs in their region. This role closely collaborates with our Regional Sales Team, Application Engineering Team, and Global Product Management team.

The Sr. Product Marketing Leader is responsible for collecting and reporting enhanced market intelligence available in each region. This key Product Marketing responsibility is critical to our efforts to ensure that the Global PMM team knows our customers better than anyone else. Regional market intelligence includes, but is not limited to: VoC, VoS, win/loss root cause analysis, industry trends, market share, market opportunity in targeted segments, competitor activities/trends. Regional data must be maintained and regularly shared within the Global PMM team. This data is critical to properly guide our marketing campaigns (Global & Regional), our product development priorities, and our product roadmaps.

The Sr. Product Marketing Leader must maintain close relationships with key / strategic customers, industry influencers, and our sales teams within region. As the regional representative of the Global PMM organization, the Sr. Product Marketing Leader is the key person in their assigned region for the execution of marketing campaigns, as well as coordination of winning go-to-market activities with Sales, Application Engineering, Global Product Management Directors, and Product Leaders.

The Sr. Product Marketing Leader must monitor product sales performance against targets within region to identify issues early and design targeted campaigns to ensure target attainment. This requires coordination and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the business.

The Sr. Product Marketing Leader is a key stakeholder in our Marketing Communications efforts. This role must partner with Global Product Management teams and Marketing Communications to ensure that our lead generation, omnichannel marketing campaign (inbound & outbound), digital marketing and sales enablement (HighSpot, sales tools) strategies are effective regionally to drive market share expansion.

Job Duties

  • Work with Director, Global Product Marketing, as well as other regional Product Marketing Leaders, to coordinate and align winning go-to-market plans/initiatives, activities, and deliverables to the Global PMM team and other management stakeholders. Share and leverage success stories and best practices across the regions efficiently, and scale synergies at the global level.

  • Ensure regular engagement and close alignment with Directors, Global Product Management and/or Product Leaders for assigned product line(s). Focus on winning go-to-market strategy & tactical execution, regional product market penetration, sales performance compared to business plan, VoC & VoS feedback related to current products, and initiatives to improve overall product/product line performance.

  • Create and communicate annual marketing plans based on market trends, VoC & VoS, sales potentials and competitor analysis.

  • Participate actively in the global and regional marketing campaign strategy & tactical process (goals, planning, content creation, execution, KPIs) to drive customer demand (lead generation) and sales growth of assigned product line(s) and related NPI, ensuring proper alignment and execution as products are launched to the market. Coordinate within the Product Marketing team and with other stakeholders (ex. Directors, Global Product Management, Application Engineering team(s), Sales teams and Global MarCom) to deliver against timeline and KPIs.

  • Define key market /customer segments for assigned product lines. Identify new market opportunities for business expansion, evaluate market share, and communicate our winning go-to-market value prop & messaging for existing and future products.

  • Focus on feeding the development and maintenance of assigned product line(s) Product Road Map(s) (PRM). Work closely with regional sales leadership in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, market trends, customer needs (met & unmet), and competitive market intelligence.

  • In close collaboration with Global Sales and Global Product Management teams, participate proactively in building relationships with strategic key accounts and opinion leaders who will influence broader market acceptance (such as OEM & Asset Owner who define the to-be testing standards) to drive growth in the long-run and support product development efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of targeted markets, customer segments and customer needs for assigned business line within the assigned region.

  • Deep understanding of the Product Portfolio within the assigned product lines, competitive products, relative market position of Evident at the regional level.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including English language, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively interact at a senior executive level

  • Experience with NPI activities and driving marketing campaigns

  • Experience with product line strategy development and execution

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.

  • 7-10+ Years Product Management and/or Product Marketing and/or Sales Experience

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of inspection modalities related to assigned business line.

  • Strong knowledge of the science & technology related to assigned business line.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural .environment, and an ability to effectively interact at a senior executive level .

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in data analysis for strategy development, reporting, and presentation

  • Ability to execute complex mid-to-long term projects according to plan coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.

  • Ability to travel within region and globally internationally up to 40%.
