Legal Support Assistant

CSI Leasing is seeking a full time Legal Support Assistant to work in the Legal Department in preparing contracts and other assignments.

What you will be doing in the role:

Collaborate with the legal staff to produce quality documents, working in a department that supports an international staff. This person will share and grow their document formatting and proofing skills while protecting CSI's interests with the accurate and timely filings of liens. Daily tasks include:

  • Obtain and maintain perfection and priority on UCC, PPSA, and PPSR lien filings
  • Input and update data in a lease management software
  • Edit, review, and update Excel spreadsheets consistently
  • Create and maintain digital and physical files
  • Communicate internally and externally with clarity and accuracy
  • Assist in the file room as needed

You will be a good fit for the role if you have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in either law firm or a corporate legal environment
  • Ability to multitask as necessary, meet deadlines, and prioritize
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
