Description
Our well-established client is seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Attorney in the Boston area. The ideal candidate possesses 10 or more years of legal experience with significant hands-on experience in commercial real estate transactions and lending law. He/she should be organized, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills and be able to lead a team of associates and paralegals.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all elements of commercial real estate deals, from inception to completion.
Advising on all aspects of real estate transactions, including real estate financing, leasing, sales and acquisitions.
Ensuring real estate transactions are legal, binding, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines.
Meeting and consulting with clients regarding various legal scenarios related to real estate.
Assisting in dispute resolution and addressing creditor rights issues.
Effectively managing a team of lower-level associates and paralegals.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
At least 10 years of legal experience in commercial real estate, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Extensive experience in commercial real estate financing and lending.
Admirable negotiation skills with a strategic approach to problem solving.
Must be currently licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
