Aerotek Repair Technician in Wellington, Florida

Repair Technician

Location: Wellington, FL

Pay: $20-21/hr

Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (flexible start time between 7:30am and 8:30am)

Contract: 6-month contract to hire permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair, assembly, and function testing of medical endoscopes.

  • Adhere to company procedures and ISO quality standards.

  • Diagnose and service medical endoscopes.

  • Capture data for analysis and report concerns to the customer service team.

  • Report malfunctioning or damaged parts, equipment, or tooling to management.

  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

  • Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically.

Work Environment:

  • Bench setup for testing and repairing endoscopes (small/large diameter).

  • Cleanroom, temperature-controlled environment.

  • Wearing scrubs recommended (provided when permanent).

Departments Hiring:

  • Rigid Endoscopes

  • Flexible Endoscopes

  • Optical Repair

Training:

  • 6-month training program to learn testing, repair, and work order/quote preparation.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of assembly and electrical repair work.

  • Ability to work under a microscope.

  • Experience with repetitive tasks.

  • Great hand-to-eye coordination.

  • Experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, tweezers).

  • Ability to calibrate medical equipment (training provided).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with small components, medical devices, or electronic repair.

  • Experience in jewelry or watch repair.

  • Technically inclined (e.g., phone or laptop repair).

Compensation:

  • Entry-level pay: $20-21/hr.

  • End-of-year bonus, company-paid holiday party, and potential summer bonus.

  • No layoffs since 1986.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
