Currently hiring for B Shift: 3pm-1am Monday - Thursday
Please note that the shift above will not go into effect until September 1st, if hired prior to effective date training times will be coordinated with Manager.
Your Role on Our Team
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for learning the duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician role through job shadowing and on-the-job training. This position will also perform basic tasks associated with the role of Maintenance Technician.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Follow and promote all safety policies and proactively identify potential safety issues, and practice 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment for all employees
Identify and assist in leading corrective action for potential safety risks on the floor
Train to perform CNC troubleshooting on drives, motors
Train to perform machine repair
Train to troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions
Operate personnel lifts
Operate forklifts
Train to perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards
Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas
Train to build and fabricate labels, devices, etc. to improve quality and production
Train to use hand and power tools
Assist with moving equipment
Train to perform plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system
Train to lookup MRO parts using CMMS system, if not available provide all relevant information to clerk, engineer or manager for prompt order of repair parts and rebuild machines as required
Train to perform all non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required
Train to evaluate / repair / replace electrical motors and component
Train to wire machines
Assist with Installing new equipment to meet all production needs
Train to perform basic PLC maintenance
