Job Description

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare.We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience. In this role, you will enable global development teams by driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members. You are able to go from high level system design, writing architectural documentation and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews and project bootstrapping.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience1-4 years of total experience with software development Java, JavaScript, Kubernetes, DockerPrior Hands-on experience developing cloud services and tools such as Oracle Cloud, AWS or AzureSolid experience with SQL in database design, developing stored procedure, views, joins, triggers, and various queries and optimizing performanceStrong experience with GithubSystematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive responsibilities listed in the job descriptionPreferred Qualifications:

Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a full stack web development background and interest as well. Deploying and troubleshooting in the cloud will be required. As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team of software engineers responsible for the software design, development, and operations for new and existing products. You should be willing to contribute anywhere within our tech stack and have an eye for clean coding best practices as well. We collaborate frequently, whether it’s through backlog grooming sessions, sprint/quarterly planning, and example mapping sessions. We like to promote a safe place where engineers should be free to speak up with new and exciting ideas, and also not afraid to take risks and learn from their mistakes.
