RF Engineer
Location: West Bethesda, MD Type: Full Time Min. Experience: Mid-Level
Salary Range: $85,000-$130,000 USD per year

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a RF Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, MD. You will have an opportunity to work on world-class military programs that support the US Navy RF Test and Evaluation program. Specifically, the applicant duties will include:
Support RF test planning, execution and reporting activities for naval assets
Conduct developmental and operational test readiness review
Collect data, process, and analyze as required
Maintain and upkeep testing equipment and instrumentation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
2 - 3 years of related experience desired
Job experience with the Navy or other DoD laboratories is a plus.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic wave propagation and scattering theory
Knowledge of RF hardware, instrumentation and data acquisition system
Knowledge of evaluation process and measurement uncertainty
Ability to radio communicate, produce reports and presentations
Ability to travel, ride on ships and helicopters in supporting field measurements.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.
