Job Title: Personal Assistant Live In
Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vital signs monitoring, patient care, assisted living, working with people with developmental disabilities, CPR, hospice care, nursing home procedures, HIPAA regulations, meal preparation, and nursing assistance. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for those under your care.
Responsibilities: - Monitor and record vital signs accurately - Provide personalized care and assistance to individuals requiring support - Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities - Implement CPR techniques when necessary - Deliver compassionate hospice care to individuals in their final stages - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality - Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements - Assist nurses with various tasks in a nursing home setting
Requirements: - Prior experience in vital signs monitoring and patient care is highly desirable - Proficiency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous - Knowledge of CPR procedures and hospice care practices is beneficial - Familiarity with nursing home operations and HIPAA compliance is a plus - Ability to prepare nutritious meals following dietary guidelines - Background in nursing or healthcare is preferred
