System One HPLC / GC Metrologist in West Caldwell, New Jersey
Title: HPLC / GC Metrologist
Location: West Caldwell, NJ
Schedule: M-F 1st Shift Full Time
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $80-90/k depending upon experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Worked as a Metrologist for 4+ years
Must be able to troubleshoot GC and HPLC instrumentation, perform repairs, execute calibration and preventive maintenance
Experience in a cGMP and Pharmaceutical environment preferred
Excellent reading, writing, math, and verbal skills
Proficient in word, excel, power point and SAP
Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit and other safety equipment as needed
Advanced use of tools and equipment
Responsibilities:
Abide by all GMP, FDA and DEA regulatory standards
Schedule the laboratory equipment calibration and Preventative Maintenance
Perform equipment calibration and Preventative Maintenance as required.
Prepare qualification documents (protocols, reports, USR, etc. for new equipment to be installed and qualified.
Revise and issue SOPs for laboratory instruments/ equipment.
Ensure all equipment is calibrated by their respective due dates.
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a GMP compliant manner and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Issue and prepare deviation reports related to laboratory instruments/ equipment.
Issue change controls related laboratory equipment.
Perform daily/weekly checks of the laboratory chart recorders, balances, etc..
