APM Case Manager Supervisor - Chester County (Bilingual Spanish/English) in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Salary: $68,000 plus benefits

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bilingual In-Home Unit Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and daily operational oversight for support care staff. This position involves responsibility for a maximum of four caseworkers and one Case aide within the in-home unit. The leadership role includes providing ongoing support, consultation, coaching, and coordination of services. 

 

Essential Duties, Tasks, and Accountabilities:

  • Supervise, motivate, and train staff through scheduled conferences and training referrals.
  • Track and review client information, assign caseloads, and coordinate staff counseling in emergencies.
  • Produce, distribute, and monitor reports on cases for effective service evaluation.
  • Assist staff in analyzing case problems and improving diagnostic and helping skills.
  • Review case records and recommend actions to ensure service quality.
  • Implement and maintain policies, oversee court document preparation, and provide case management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, operate within the budget, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Conduct, recommend, or direct staff to appropriate training programs.
  • Assume Case Manager responsibilities in their absence.
  • Maintain a positive public image, and act as a liaison to community services.
  • Complete 40 hours of annual training.
  • Manage Case Manager caseloads, performance, and corrective action.
  • Provide documented supervision bi-weekly for each Case Manager, communicate updates on child welfare regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Pradera's mission.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Work and two years of experience in the Human Services field; or Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences with two years of experience in the Human Services field; or Bachelor's degree in another field with 12 credits in Social Sciences AND two years of experience in Human Services.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English with exceptional proficiency in written, oral, and reading skills.
  • Pass Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal History Check, and FBI Fingerprint background check.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and clear Driver Record.
  • Pass Medical exam including TB exam and be free from communicable diseases.

     

Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Supervisory experience, including training and performance evaluation.
  • DHS Child Welfare Certification.
  • Knowledge of child welfare and/or child protective services law/Juvenile Act.
  • Experience and knowledge in child development.
  • Background and knowledge in social work and psychology.
  • Strong knowledge of office policy and procedures.
