Job Description Summary

The Senior Lessor Marketing Manager is responsible for building and articulating market and product strategies and value sells for respective Commercial Engines & Services.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Develop the long-term strategic vision and value proposition for lessor customers.

  • Research and analyze market trends and opportunities and develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Support strategic business plan and pricing discussion, bring solutions to address market feedback and achieve business goals.

  • Articulate and present GE’s product value differentiation in the market to lessor customers.

  • Monitor any current and future competitive threats in the industry and provide recommendations to maintain or secure GE’s desired market positioning.

  • Provide sales campaign support through the generation of comparative value charts as well as through performing life cycle analytics and commercial product strategy.

  • Coordinate with airframers to develop joint value sells.

  • Build network of industry experts through industry events and personal engagement to stay apprised of evolving trends, and share trends in a thoughtful way.

  • Solicit, collect, and analyze large quantities of data to succinctly capture key insights.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of commercial aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of commercial aviation industry experience).

Desired Characteristics :

  • Commercial aviation leasing industry experience.

  • Aviation consulting experience.

  • Established network in the aviation community with ability to leverage relationships across the aviation sector to access market intelligence.

  • Ability to formulate strategy and develop presentations to influence leaders and stakeholders.

  • Performance-driven and customer-focused.

  • Experience with lean, able to adopt lean mindset and tools for marketing activities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects; ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
