Overview

We are looking to fill a position for a Logistics Supervisor to lead our Transportation and Distribution Center Teams. This position will be responsible for the global transportation, for all modes, of Lottery Products and replacement parts from the Distribution Center. We want to hire a coworker who wants to find the newest and best practices to help the department move to the next generation of material movement domestically and internationally. We want a team member and relationship builder willing to take the initiative and become a future leader.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end global and domestic transportation of Lottery products and materials.

  • Management of a small distribution center (e.g. Receiving, Put Away, Inventory Control, Picking, Packing, Shipping)

  • Communication with Carrier and Freight Forwarder relations, internal and external freight cost savings analysis coordination, and projects to drive annual savings.

  • Direct communication with US and Foreign Import & Export custom brokers.

  • Developing, coordinating, and maintaining the activities of the Transportation Department, including reviewing processes and procedures and ensuring that all team members follow company policies.

  • Identify and lead accurate harmonized coding for all Lottery products and the functionality for all codes and articles associated with all Import/Export tariffs.

  • Mentor and educate direct reports on International Import/Export Documentation and the US & Foreign customs requirements for all countries globally.

  • Mentor and educate direct reports on the Meaning & Definitions, Consult & Audit of International Incoterms, and any changes to this industry standards.

  • Track and run high-value & revenue projects.

  • Lead, mentor, and pass industry knowledge to Logistics Team members and other internal departments.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of demonstrated ability in the Logistics Industry, preferably in a Transportation and/or Distribution Operations role.

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory experience

  • Strong understanding of Parcel, Truckload, Less-than-truckload, Air and Ocean Transportation processes and procedures.

  • Strong understanding of International Shipments, including the accurate use of Incoterms.

  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and international procedures and shipping documentation.

  • Proficiency in MSN Office, Outlook, Excel, Word.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.

  • Transportation and Logistics operations and systems experience.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Associate’s degree or 5 years of proven experience

  • Ability to adapt to and lead through change effectively

  • Ability to pass a Background Security Investigation

Preferred

  • SAP experience or knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • CSCMP Certification

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

  • Previous background in Manufacturing Operations and Material Distribution

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
