What to expect: Skills you will learn: Patient care activities such as proper hygienic care (bathing, showering, shaving, etc.), assisting with hydration and nutrition, ambulation and transportation of patients, therapeutic communication and assisting in emergency situations. BLS certification provided. Training/Orientation is fully paid at the same rate of the position. Classroom-style learning supplemented with hands on clinical training. Agreement to an 18 month commitment period working at Our Lady of Consolation upon successful completion of the training program. Requirements: Passion for Patient Care Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred experience: Customer Service experience, Caregiver experience and demonstrated interest and/or exposure to healthcare.
