TITAN LANDSCAPE, LLC Shop Helper (Temporary) in WEST JORDAN, Utah

Titan Landscape LLC, located in Heber and West Jordan, UT, is seeking 6 temporary, full-time Shop Helpers. Duties: Help maintenance and repair workers with maintenance, parts replacement, and repair of vehicle fleet and lawn and snow equipment. Furnish tools, materials, and supplies to maintenance workers, clean work area, machines, and tools. Organize shop supplies. No education required. No experience required. Employer will offer 35 hours of work per week, Monday -- Friday 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required. Workers are needed to begin work on 11/23/2024 through 04/14/2025. Travel required to worksite in Sandy, Utah. Wage: $18.47-19.00 per hour. OT paid at $27.71-28.50 per hour. On-The-Job training available. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. At employees' request and employer's discretion, employer may provide employees with an interest-free loan or cash advance prior to the commencement of the work period or during the work period. In this event, the employer may, with written consent and by request of the employee, subtract an amount from the employee's paycheck consistent with both parties' agreed terms of repayment for the loan or cash advance. Employer will assist workers in securing housing but workers will bear cost of rent. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker and/or arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the worksite in West Jordan, Utah. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
