Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Temporary Bookkeeper with Business Management Experience to join our team in West Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a background in business management. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base and gain valuable experience in a dynamic CPA firm environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Business Management: Utilize business management experience to assist clients in optimizing financial processes, improving cash flow, and implementing best practices for financial management.

  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, providing financial guidance, and addressing any concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software Experience with AgilLink and QuickBooks / QBO is highly preferred

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including CPAs and tax professionals, to ensure seamless client service delivery and support firm-wide initiatives.

  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a CPA firm or professional services environment.

  • Strong understanding of business management principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.

  • CPA certification or enrollment in a CPA program is a plus.
