Langston Companies Inc., manufacturer and distributor of consumer and\ industrial packaging is headquartered south of downtown Memphis, TN, along\ with several locations throughout the U.S. Langston has been in business for 75\ years, with a long track record of stability and growth, seeks a qualified candidate\ to join their Customer Service Team.
The successful candidate will work directly with Customers and Sales, mostly via\ phone and email. Requirements include: H.S. diploma with a minimum of 2 years\ of experience working in an office, customer service, or industrial clerical\ environment (Two-year degree and preferred). Applicants must have customer\ service experience and be proficient working with computers, MS Office (Excel,\ Word, Outlook) and product specifications. Additional skills needed: Candidate\ must have good data entry and telephone skills, good oral and written\ communication skills, good decision-making and negotiation skills, multi-tasking,\ teamwork and organizational skills.
The position is desk oriented inside a climate-controlled work station with all\ necessary phone, computer, paperwork and storage areas within hands reach.\ The normal work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break. This\ would be a full-time position (40 hours per week).
