TEKsystems Desktop Support Specialist in West Palm Beach, Florida
Description
Desktop Support Technician - Will be supporting over 700+ new pc's. Responsible for imaging pc's with Akronos, de-installing and installing new hardware as well as handling the typical end user questions and setting up network printers. This should be focused on 100% deployments though there is a small chance the techs may get asked to assist in troubleshooting support tickets. The deployment with mainly be focused on Courthouse & Government Center in downtown West Palm Beach, along with courthouses in Delray Beach & Palm Beach Gardens. Might be one day out at West County courthouse but will travel with employees in county van. Candidates need 2+ years experience as a desktop support/project deployment tec. Must have proven former with great references. Associates degree in Information Technology or related field and three (3) years of recent and relevant experience required; in lieu of an associate’s degree, two (2) years of direct work experience and one (1) year of supplemental work experience required. PHYSICAL ABILITY Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
