JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
DESCRIPTION:
The individual is responsible for providing for the safety and welfare of persons in and around the pool area as well as being knowledgeable on overall pool maintenance. Must be able to work as part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. These positions require the following 3 publicly available clearances to work with youth:
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
FBI Criminal Background Check
Lifeguards must have current Red Cross certification and be 21 years of age to work alone.
CAMP LOCATION:
4-H Camp Shehaqua – Hickory Run State Park, White Haven PA
WORK SCHEDULE:
Camp week is July 8-13, 2024. Work schedule will usually be Tuesday morning through Thursday afternoon. Daily hours will depend on swim times needed during the week.
JOB SUPERVISION: The individual will be responsible to the camp directors.
SALARY: Salary will be $15/hour of actual guarding time. Room and board are provided during the camp week.
