Job Description
The GI Solution Manager will support the strategic direction, development, and commercial success of solutions designed to enhance patient care pathways with a focus on gastrointestinal diseases. As part of the GI Solution Team, this person will build and execute comprehensive digital solutions that solve clinical pain points by incorporating data and connectivity across hardware, software, services, and IT. This person will leverage deep customer and market insights as well as a strong understanding of the competition to support development of differentiated products and solutions. Key deliverables of the role require collaboration across the team and various functions to deliver a solution roadmap, business cases, market requirements documents, and claims matrix. This person should serve as a subject matter expert in GI diseases. This position requires strong customer focus, collaboration, change management, innovation, and communication.
Job Duties
Collaborate to develop and execute a comprehensive commercial roadmap for GI diseases
Serve as subject matter expert on GI diseases
Responsible for robust business cases to support new solution initiatives, investments, and resource allocation
Drives creation of detailed Market Requirements Document that articulates the needs and expectations of our customers as well as unique selling points of our products and solutions.
Implements claims matrix and evidence planning early in the development process to substantiate product claims and support marketing strategies with solid scientific evidence.
Builds and supports development of strategic insights, through analysis of customer feedback, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform decision making and product development
Formulate and adjust pricing strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability while ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Develops segmentation and targeting strategies to identify and prioritize key market segments for OLY products.
Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with healthcare professionals to maintain and strengthen core business relationships and promote market growth
Collaborate across all business units, SBCs, and functions (Product, R&D, sales, marketing, regulatory, legal, MSA, etc.) to deliver solutions that support revenue and profit objectives
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Required:
BA/BS with preference for physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or business. MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum of six (6) years of successful healthcare product management
Extensive experience in commercializing new technologies and solutions
Demonstrated success delivering results in highly matrixed organizations
Minimum of five (5) years working with global teams and markets
Ability to travel up to 30% including international travel
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours to accommodate global teams
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices, hospital workflow, or healthcare data products
Succinct communication and presentation style
Creative thinker and strategic planner
Efficient and effective decision-making
Tolerance for ambiguity and a passion for rapid business evolution

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $116,751.00 - $163,452.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
