Leading high tech surface solutions and advanced materials manufacturer that services markets in the automotive, aerospace, and enery industry is hiring for a 1st Class CNC Machinist ( Lathe or Milling). Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines (milling machines, lathes, grinders, etc.) according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Select the proper tools, fixtures, and cutting materials based on the requirements of the part being manufactured.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators to ensure they meet exact specifications.
Conduct in-process inspections to detect defects or deviations early in the machining process.
Make adjustments to machines or programs as needed to maintain product quality and ensure it meets customer specifications.
Experience with precise components like materials like metal, plastic, or composites
