Eaton Corporation Industrial Aftermarket & MRO Sales Engineer in Westerville, Ohio

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking an Industrial Aftermarket & MRO Sales Engineer. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the following locations to be considered for the role: Parma, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Grand Rapids, MI; Southfield, MI; West Chester, OH or Westerville, OH. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants that live outside these locations.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

The primary function of the Industrial Aftermarket & MRO Sales Engineer is to drive growth in electrical maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) product and services with industrial end users and to enhance long-term relationships in our key segments: oil & gas, industrial chemical, mining, metals & minerals, pulp, paper & wood, food & beverage, pharma & biotech, automotive and general manufacturing.

This role will be a key driver in showing Eaton's ability to support the complete lifecycle of our customers' power distribution and control systems.

In this function you will:

  • Use corporate tools and business analytics such as Power BI and Industrial Information Resources (IIR) to drive data-based decisions about account opportunities and growth

  • Collaborate cross functionally with industrial sales, service sales, distributor sales, product lines, and other internal stakeholders to provide customer centric solutions

  • Seek opportunities to deepen industrial channel capabilities, reach and penetration within existing and new Industrial and Engineering Services accounts

  • Lead technical presentations at industrial channel, customer's forums and local technical associations

  • Assist the team to develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed of market conditions

  • Quote projects and negotiate accurate required pricing

  • Obtain ongoing training on both functional and technical skills

  • Conduct training for industrial-focused distributor sales and support teams on Eaton systems and processes as well as new product and service offerings

  • Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust to ever changing pricing and delivery requirements

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years in a technical or commercial field, an Associate’s degree with five (5) years in a technical or commercial field or a high school diploma with seven (7) years in a technical or commercial field will be considered

  • Possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience in electrical or general MRO sales

  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution

  • Technical knowledge

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $97,500 - $143,000.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
