Vertiv has a transformation opportunity to join our Vertiv Operating Systems (VOS) team as a Manager, Continuous Improvement in Westerville, OH. Under the direction of Global Vice President of VOS, this individual contributor will: * Serve as a change agent by driving the required cultural transformation and the adoption of successful process improvement practices and by diagnosing barriers to project success and facilitating resolution. * Lead assigned global business process improvements among all Vertiv functions. RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all business functions (including NPDI and Field Service) within the Vertiv Operating System (VOS), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. * Drive the optimization of business functions, including but not limited to finance, human resources, operations, and logistics, by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of operational excellence. * Foster seamless collaboration among different business functions to enhance overall operational efficiency, improve communication channels, and facilitate the achievement of departmental and organizational targets. * Lead initiatives for continuous improvement across various functional areas, identifying opportunities for streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance. * Act as a change agent, overseeing the successful implementation of new strategies and processes across business functions. Provide guidance and support to team members during periods of change. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure the VOS aligns with organizational goals. * Engage with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, department heads, and team members, to gather input, address concerns, and build consensus on process improvement strategies. * Play a key role in shaping the success of the VOS department and contribute to the overall organizational success by ensuring excellence in all business functions. * Develop and implement operating model framework to support VOS transformation. * Ensure alignment of functional strategies with the overall organizational strategy. * Oversee the optimization key business functions. * Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Facilitate collaboration and communication among different business functions. * Drive initiatives to break down silos and promote a collaborative working environment. * Lead initiatives for continuous improvement across all functional areas. * Identify and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency gains. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 7 - 10 years' experience * Six Sigma / Lean certifications preferred. Required Experience * Proven leadership experience in overseeing multiple business functions. * Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies. * Prior experience in leading diverse teams to achieve a common goal. * Prior experience using word processing, spreadsheet, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
