JOB REQUIREMENTS: Title:Material Handler, 2nd ShiftReq ID: 4661 City, State:Westfield, WI Reports to:Receiving Supervisor Department:2nd Shift Receiving Westfield Classification:Nonexempt Hours: 1:30p.m. - 9:30p.m. (Hours will vary) Wage: \$22.78 per hour JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the proper handling and disposition, paperwork or data entry of all incoming raw material products, supplies etc. JOB DUTIES: Unload raw material from trailer and store in coolers, freezers, or dry storage as required. Attach proper identifying tags or labels to materials or properly mark skids, cases or containers as they are received. Inspect incoming materials to verify quantity received, verify item numbers, verify vendor batch, and identify damaged goods or unmarked items. Complete necessary related paperwork. Complete all necessary computer work. Remove material samples as required, properly label/identify and notify QA. Move products within coolers/freezers/dry storage and record in computer as necessary. Locate and distribute material to specified staging areas, as required. Maintain a clean work environment within coolers, freezers, dry storage areas and on receiving docks. Assist driver with oil tanker. Pump oil as necessary. As a floater, you may need to help in all areas of the department, this includes laundry, janitorial, inedible dock, inventory control, as well as receiving. Frequent bending, lifting, twisting as well as climbing possible during work shift. Perform all other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise exposure, temperature variations from warm to cool to extremely cold and slippery floors are present. Slippery floors are present. Exposure to corrosive chemicals. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet physical abilities evaluation requirements for this position. Must have ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and climb stairs, up to 8 hours per day. Must successfully complete all required training including power jack/forklift/yard dog and Hazard Communication training courses. Must have valid driver\'s license. Must have basic computer literacy. Must be able to work with little supervision. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug testand background check arerequired.
