Charles Schwab Corporate Food & Beverage Manager in Westlake, Texas
Your opportunity
Charles Schwab is building a new 11,000 square foot food hall concept on their HQ campus in Westlake, TX. The food hall will consist of four fully functional restaurants and three pop-up food stations. The food hall concept envisioned is one that will be an exciting eating destination for employees and guests, where patrons will be able to choose from a variety of rotating counter-service restaurants and a familiar cuisine from local eateries. The Corporate Food & Beverage Manager role will serve as the food hall manager, responsible for conceptualization and planning, guest restaurant sourcing, and overall day-to-day operations of the food hall.
What you’ll do:
Develop concept and market the food hall opportunity to candidate restaurants
Identify, interview, and engage selected restaurants and negotiate deal structures; On-board restaurant partners
Assume responsibility for branding, restaurant safety, food borne illness risk and liability and general conditions of food hall
Manage food hall menu and guest restaurant rotations
Train guest restaurants on point-of-sale system, reporting and operating routines
Order and stock beverages, cups, and common food hall supplies
Expedite mobile order deliveries for guest restaurants; clear pick-up room at end-of-day
Monitor temperature logs, exhaust hood cleaning, grease trap service, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational excellence
Specify, order, and put replacement small wares and appliances into service
Conduct weekly quality assurance audits
Monitor and audit kitchen controls and cleanliness standards
Keep dining area tables and trash receptacles clear/clean during service
Common equipment and services coordination. Floor mat cleaning; dock management; main kitchen equipment controls; storage and prep space allocation and control.
Manage employee requests, complaints, and feedback.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement internal controls and procedures to mitigate operational risks.
Develop and enforce standards for general operations, food safety, alcohol sales/consumption, customer service, etc.
Oversee service and maintenance contracts and understand operation of facility equipment and systems
Administer an inventory management system for products used in the common areas of the food hall and ensure availability of products
Collaborate with the conferencing and events team to plan and execute special events
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
What you have
10+ years of Food & Beverage experience
Demonstrated experience in prioritizing the guest experiences and providing exceptional Customer Service
Training expertise in the hospitality industry to include process development and documentation
Complex and detailed budgeting skills for financial management
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Deep and familiar knowledge of health and safety regulations as they relate to Food Service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships throughout an organization
Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
