Position Details:

  • Hybrid Schedule: Ability to work in-office 4 days per week, with availability to work from home 1 day per week.

  • This position is based in Core-Mark’s corporate headquarters in Westlake, TX. Relocation assistance is not available at this time.

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. You will support the recruitment team by coordinating the pre-employment process, managing candidate communications, and provide an exceptional experience to candidates and hiring managers. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized individual that is customer centric, team-oriented and has a passion for talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting background checks, reference checks, and verifying credentials and other candidate qualifications.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and coordinating start dates.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing updates and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the pre-employment process.

  • Maintain and update the ATS, ensuring all candidate information and notes are properly recorded.

  • Build strong relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to effectively influence and advise on best practices throughout the pre-employment process.

  • Assist in planning and executing recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives when needed.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including document preparation, meeting coordination, invoicing, and other HR-related tasks.

  • Provide clear and consistent communication with candidates and business partners.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and/or implement new ones.

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with recruitment platforms.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Customer service mindset, with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience.

Required Qualifications:
