Duties : Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software; provide the processes, training, and tools to support Internal Audit’s adherence to standards and expectations of quality, timeliness and consistency; provide data and analysis for internal audit activities and results contributing to CSC’s governance committees’ ability to perform effective oversight; support the independent and objective assurance activity through the use of data analytics; identify source systems and associated databases across the enterprise and use appropriate tools to extract, standardize/normalize, optimize, and export data from Teradata integrated data warehouse; and participate in data analysis and continuous improvement
projects as necessary, to identify themes, trends, and emerging risks and escalate and communicate to internal audit senior management as part of continuous monitoring activities. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX.
Salary: $116,228.61 to $130,600 per year
What you have
Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 3 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Data Analysis Tools (Alteryx, Excel, Python or R); Data Visualization Concepts and Tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or Google Charts); One or more core programming languages such as C/C++/C#, Python, R, SQL, Powershell, or SAS; Database Management (SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata) and manipulating datasets and executing joins using SQL; Statistical techniques (descriptive analysis, regression analysis, trend identification, or decision trees); and, Manipulate Excel reports using pivot tables, variety of formulas, complex functions and macros.
