POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION The Bus Driver position is responsible for safely transporting people of all ages to various locations throughout the Denver metropolitan area and surrounding mountains. The position is responsible for complying with all traffic regulations and exercising extreme caution in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. The position is also responsible for general maintenance such as checking vehicle fluids and safety equipment to ensure that the bus is in safe operating condition on a daily basis. The position requires a Class C Commercial Driver's License and P, or S endorsement and is subject to federally mandated drug and alcohol testing, in addition to a Department of Transportation physical examination once every two years.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS/PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses, and Certifications Required:

Must be at least 21 years of age Current and valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class and P, P-1 or P-2 endorsement First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required within 30 days of hire Certified completion and passing of the Department of Transportation medical examination every two years

Preferred: Previous experience driving a bus Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, may be considered.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the United States and must successfully pass a criminal background check, reference check, and substance screen. There may be additional pre-employment requirements depending on the nature of the position.
