Primary Purpose of this Position:
The Sr. Director of Corporate Development is responsible for planning and executing corporate development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. The Sr. Director of Corporate Development reports to the VP of Corporate Development.
What will you be responsible for?
Manage the overall M&A and investment opportunity pipeline, and the sourcing of these opportunities
Maintain relationships with investment banks, business owners and PE firms which are sources of acquisitions
Screen the M&A opportunities which involves meeting with the owners of these opportunities
Understand business models, financial drivers and operational requirements for M&A targets in new products and adjacencies
Develop and manage relationships with internal and external business partners to generate new acquisition opportunities and ideas
Monitor M&A and broader market trends to determine market valuations for M&A targets
Coordinate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure that financial profiles of targets are reasonable, accurate and up to date, and can be acceptable inside of Balls consolidated financial statements
Provide leadership, guidance and knowledge to the internal Ball M&A deal teams
Develop the integration plan for new acquisitions
Lead due diligence process on transactions
What are we looking for?
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in finance or accounting discipline with a preference towards a master's degree
Minimum of 10 years experience in finance and corporate development, including experience with deal generation and evaluation
Compensation & Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range: $159,000 - 248,000 USD* (Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.*If this role is offered/hired in another country, local market data will be used.
This role is eligible to participate in our short and long-term incentive bonus programs.
