Senior Director, Global Tax Accounting and US Reporting
This role reports to the VP, Global Tax and Treasury and is responsible for global tax accounting and reporting. In addition to strong technical expertise, the successful candidate will build, lead and mentor a team and interface with Accounting and the broader Finance team, as well as work closely with external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
• Tax Accounting – lead and mentor the tax team in completing the global ASC 740 tax provision process from planning and forecasting through to calculations, recording, and reporting; drive continuous process improvements to streamline the global accounting process; oversee controls; and ensure processes, documentation and related systems are in compliance with policies and best practices.
• Tax Reporting – manage the team to deliver all income tax reporting including federal, state, and US international tax returns; partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve standardization and automation in the US income tax compliance process; and enhance documentation and drive collaboration between the tax accounting and tax reporting processes.
• Value-add strategic projects – collaborate with other tax department team members, Finance and non-Finance leaders, to lead and manage delivery of value-add strategic projects.
• Systems and automation – lead tax team’s efforts on enterprise-wide systems projects that drive a tighter end to end connection with the tax accounting and income tax reporting processes and the adoption of tax technology tools including OTP, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.
Additionally, the candidate will have a significant role in:
• Stakeholder management – drive relationships with stakeholders including business partners, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Treasury, and external parties including financial statement auditors.
• People leadership – develop and lead the team, including mentoring, training and development of technical and finance skills, setting strategy and monitoring progress towards goals.
Skills and experience:
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with the preparation and review of US GAAP income tax provisions including ASC740, accounting for uncertain tax positions, and accounting for the tax impacts of M&A.
• Monitoring and analyzing tax regulatory and compliance developments, accounting pronouncements, and tax law changes in order to assess the implications for the Company.
• Strong experience with OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and OneSource Income Tax (OIT) preferred.
• A proven track record in process improvements, automation, and ERP system conversions preferred.
• Experience managing corporate income tax compliance for multi-national and multi-state filings.
• Demonstrated success building, developing and leading a high performing team.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 12 years of tax accounting experience
8 years of management experience

The pay range for this position is $196k to $250k, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
