FULL-TIME [Exempt] : 40 hours

Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033524) seeks a talentedCompliance Director, Sr. Consultantto contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. TheCompliance Director, Sr. Consultantwill perform external consulting and technical assistance for select CCSI customers’ compliance programs. This includes serving as a dedicated subject matter expert and resource for customers to ensure the full implementation of a successful Compliance Program that addresses regulatory and legal obligations and promotes customers’ business ethics and integrity.

In this role, you will be

  • Implementing the compliance program and plan for each customer that addresses high-priority / high-risk areas.

  • Collaborating and assisting each customer with the day-to-day management of their compliance program.

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures associated with customers’ compliance requirements.

  • Overseeing the compliance audit and monitoring plan and conducting compliance audits for customers—testing operational effectiveness of key controls using a variety of approaches, including sampling, corroboration, observation, performance assessments, etc.

  • Conducting planning, writing reports, analyzing data, documenting findings, and recommending remediation to customers as necessary. Supports the implementation of remediation and plans of corrective action.

  • Assisting each customer with establishing, implementing, and/or maintaining effective lines of communication, including a confidential means for reporting compliance concerns.

  • Providing guidance and assistance for external customer investigations.

  • Educating customers (to include customers’ Boards, leadership, staff, and volunteers) on compliance issues, including reporting instructions, industry rules, regulations, and policies as applicable.

  • Collaborating with the CCSI Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to develop training content and standardized resources for customers and coordinate the annual compliance training program schedule for customers, including updates as needed to address changes in laws, results of audits and investigations, and guidance from federal and state agencies.

  • Creating and overseeing a compliance committee for each customer this position supports.

  • Providing coordination and guidance for external auditor/survey visits for each customer, planned and unscheduled.

  • Conducting annual compliance program reviews for each customer.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, statutes, and regulations impacting customer operations.

  • Managing all customer compliance and privacy program documentation.

  • Completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or health/human services field of study and minimum of 7 years of healthcare compliance experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) ).

  • Required:Must hold one or more of these certifications: Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certificate in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), or a graduate certificate from a university participating in the Compliance Certification Board Accrediting Program.

  • Demonstrated experience and high-level competency with compliance investigations and corporate-level compliance training.

  • Possess deep knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance requirements, including a thorough understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

  • Leverage expertise in standard business software applications to support compliance activities and customer engagements.

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, confidently addressing audiences and effectively communicating key compliance concepts.

  • Ability to plan, develop, and conduct presentations in front of an audience.
