Your Opportunity:Taymark Inc., a Taylor Company, is seeking a Production Hand Packager/Finisher for our White Bear Lake location. Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Your Responsibilities: Operate commercial/industrial Sewing and Serge, along with other necessary machines Setting up the machine and tooling required for each job Cutting and finishing with with various production equipment as necessary Ironing, folding, creasing to remove wrinkles and create clean straight folds Assembles, binds, and/or packages materials and products manually Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance Picking needed materials or any add-ons and other required items to pair with finished produced item Folds & tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction Delivering completed orders to the next part of production or order fulfillment within the warehouse Preferred Qualifications: Ability to operate sewing, serge, hot press, ironing machines Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity Knowledge of various finishing operations and equipment related to the industry Ability to work quickly to meet necessary deadlines Willingness and flexibility to perform a variety of different tasks Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within industrial sewing production Able to stand, sit, or bend for entire shift Able to read, understand, and follow production processes and instructions We Would Also Prefer: High School Diploma or the equivalent About Our Company One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
