TEKsystems Administrative Assistant in White Plains, New York
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our healthcare team as a Healthcare Data Entry Clerk. The primary
responsibility of this entry-level position is to accurately input and manage patient data into our electronic health record (EHR) system. The ideal
candidate should possess strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient data into the EHR system, including personal information, medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Perform regular data verification and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information.
Update and maintain patient records, ensuring data protection and privacy regulations adherence.
Retrieve and assemble medical records and documentation as requested by healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve any data discrepancies or issues.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Follow established protocols and guidelines for data entry and record management.
Identify and report any system errors or technical issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in organizing and filing physical documents as needed.
Provide administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments, as required.
