Our Cerelia Whitehall plant may be new, but the history of Cerelia goes back to 1974. As the years have passed, the company has grown from a France based production company to an international leader.
Position Summary
The Data Entry & Process Specifications Intern will work across multiple departments to assist in creating work instructions and confirming the usage of raw material through our ingredient dosing system. This position will assist in determining the accuracy of the system by analyzing the data that is corrected and look for any potential errors or discrepancies.
Primary Responsibilities
Develops standard work instructions for use by various organizational departments by compiling provided documentation, written notes, and examples into a required format.
Makes work instructions easy to use by adding photographs and screenshots for step-by-step directions, using provided template
Tests effectiveness of work instructions by performing the tasks using handheld scanners and tablets and interacting with other team members
Performs archiving and numbering of completed procedures, on a defined SharePoint or Shared folder Library for further access and tracking
Assists with reconciling inventory in ERP system
Performs consumption of dosing system (Spiromatic) ingredients (includes running Spiromatic reports, consuming quantities, elevating issues)
Data entry, generate & maintain spreadsheets; perform basic analysis in Excel (pivot tables, functions, conditional formatting).
Cross-functional communication; Ability to communicate well with others both written & verbal
Follow company safety and quality policies and practices, fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers
Maintain clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as directed by supervision
Minimum Qualifications
Education and/ or Experience:
Student enrolled in accredited college, university, or trade school with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Self-driven individual who has the motivation to complete responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner
Previous ERP experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Word & Excel
Very detail oriented and able to follow directions
Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action within accepted procedures and practices
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
