Position Summary
The Engineering Projects Manager will lead and manage multiple engineering projects at our state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant. The candidate will possess a solid background in engineering principles, project management, and food production processes. This role is critical for team and plant development, growth of facility and production, and ultimately, plant success criteria.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with other departments in defining the complete project scope and cost estimate
Assist the Capex Project Manager in preparing the Capital Project Request (IAR)
Develop and manage detailed project timelines (Gantt)
Upon successful startup, collaborative project hand-off to the Production department
Delivering the project on-time and on budget, meeting or exceeding the product quality

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Food Engineering, or a related field)
10+ years of project management and construction management experience in food manufacturing or a related industry
Strong experience and familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, SQF)
PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - the ability to motivate teams and drive results
Proficient in project management software and engineering tools
