Job Description
Assists the Department Supervisors in maximizing productivity and employee morale ensuring service levels are achieved.
Responsible for monitoring staff so that all shift distribution duties are completed.
Make Supervisor aware of any employee relation or attendance matters.
Ensure the timely, accurate, and damage-free handling of materials and merchandise
Monitor work activity within assigned area
Verifies and creates paperwork for E-Com operations
Resolves problems with orders
Assist the Logistics Supervisor in developing operational plans on a daily and weekly basis
Responsible for helping to ensure a safe, positive and productive work environment
Maintain professional daily interaction with all levels and departments throughout the organization
Raise employee concerns to the Supervisor.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years distribution experience
Ability to function effectively at both strategic and tactical levels
WMS systems experience, Red Prairie preferred
Proven leadership skills including the ability to coach, train, motivate, and empower associates
High ethical standards, demonstrated strong integrity
Models and supports organization's goals and values
Demonstrated leadership by example, proven and work ethic
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-orientated with a drive for quality and accuracy
Ability to stand and bend down for continuous periods of time, frequently lift up to 30 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 85lbs.
