JAMES LANE AIR CONDITIONING Fire Sprinkler Inspector in WICHITA FALLS, Texas
James Lane Air Conditioning Co., LLC, a Fidelity Company in Wichita Falls, TX, is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our growing team!
The Fire Sprinkler Inspector provides the testing and inspection of fire sprinklers all applicable codes and authorities having jurisdiction; performs repairs to deficient systems; and performs preventive maintenance. Fire Sprinkler Inspector must prepare accurate and timely reports, which may include signed inspections and service tickets.
An ideal candidate will have general mechanical experience, adaptability in a fast-paced work environment, and a willingness to train and learn aspects of plumbing. They will be able to prioritize, pay attention to detail, and maintain high customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.
Primary Duties:
- Create accurate and thorough reports
- Repair sprinkler systems by work orders
- Inspections of fire alarm and sprinkler systems
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE
- Communicate solutions to identified deficiencies with customer
- Cut, thread, and install black pipe
- Maintain professional attitude
- Coordinate work with the manager
- Provide information required by managers to keep jobs organized and customers informed of progress
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized
- Complete paperwork as required on a timely basis
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years or more of fire sprinkler, alarm, or life safety experience required
- Current driver's license and clean driving record
- NICET Certification is required
- RME-I License and Backflow certifications preferred
