KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

• Design and deliver a developmentally appropriate preschool program.
• Plan and conduct indoor and outdoor activities suited to children\'s developmental stages.
• Encourage play, exploration, and learning through engaging activities.

Child Supervision and Safety:

• Communicate positively with parents daily.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Conduct weekly observations to monitor childrens progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Lead and observe child playtime outside as scheduled.

Inclusive Teaching:

• Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of both typically sighted and visually impaired children.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize assistive technologies and resources to support the learning experiences of visually impaired children.

Parent Engagement:

• Build strong relationships with parents and families.
• Provide regular updates on childrens progress and address any concerns.
• Encourage family involvement in the childs educational journey.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
• Continuously seek ways to improve teaching effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
