Ethos Veterinary Health Veterinary Technician in Wichita, Kansas

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita (VESH) located in Wichita, KS is looking to add a part-time Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician to our growing ER team! If you enjoy the thrill of not knowing what is going to come in next & thinking critically on your feet, this position is for YOU!

About Us:

VESH is a high volume, progressive 24-hour ER + Specialty Hospital (only one in a 2-hour radius). We have a BRAND-NEW building, 15,000 square feet, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Our mission is to provide the highest level of specialty and emergency care with compassionate treatment tailored to the client and their pet.

Much like the care an emergency room provides for humans, Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita offers help when primary veterinarians are not available. We are an extension of the services they provided.

Our team offers emergency and overnight nursing care as well as care on weekends and major holidays. We also provide specialty surgical care, dentistry/oral surgery on weekdays by appointment. CT & Ultrasound services are available if indicated by our patient’s treatment needs.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Thursday - Saturday; all shifts

  • Part time hours needed

  • ​​​Competitive Pay ($15-$25 per hour based on credentialing and experience)

About You:

You are a Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You are able to remain composed during stressful & emotional situations, and enjoy the thrill of not knowing what is going to come in next.
