Position Summary:
Parker is looking for a project manager to manage the business transformation from legacy systems to Enterprise system standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in an operations or supply chain environment with extensive project management experience. This individual should be highly motivated with excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills, and should enjoy working in a fast pace and high visibility environment.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Lead, coordinate, and actively participate in critical project phases, including Planning, Requirement, Design, Development, and Deployment
Leads the development and implementation of solutions that address new business requirements, risk management and producing standardized documentation
Establishes methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes; Identifies deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommends solutions / areas for improvement
Work with multiple functional areas and functions within the project to facilitate project tracking and reporting
Understands business impact; Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations
Has a broad understanding of strategy across all functions and can assess impact on own area
Foster a strong, positive relationship with key project stakeholders
Guide and train team members in functional business skills & processes
Qualifications:
Proficient in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet and/or Azure DevOps
Ability to assist in the communication of status in a proficient manner that articulates true status of the workstream
Experience in working with multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and coordinating with management and stakeholders
Understanding of the importance of follow up and documentation of results
Trusted advisor to the project team
Ability to drive abstract and complex project tasks in a way that the assists the project
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, as this is a highly visible role in the project
Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Able to maintain poise and composure under pressure in relatively ambiguous and complex situations
Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills, ability to adapt to changing schedules, and multiple work plans
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to travel as needed
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
S/4HANA Implementation / conversion experience (preferred)
