SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Oracle Application Functional Manager is responsible for the leading design and development of solutions for Oracle EBS and integrated tools/technologies. This role will be responsible for leading and directing a group of functional specialists under the guidance of the Global functional Services Manager. It w ill be responsible for strategic and tactical advice and partnering with customers, functional business analysts, technical team, and other team members in driving appropriate design and implementation of functional solutions to meet desired business requirements. This role will provide direction to the team, lead projects, and act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Will be responsible for leading and directing a group of functional specialists under the guidance of the Global functional Services Manager. Provide technical and business knowledge to ensure the financial modules are configured & leveraged to SW’s best advantage. Conduct detailed research on vendor products and assist with general project management. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The role requires an understanding of business issues, seeks improvement opportunities, and recommends solutions while taking ownership of ensuring support in coordination with the other managers. Additionally, the shared service functional manager will work proactively with business, functional, and technical teams to track projects and project deliverables, enhancement requests, manage reporting, training needs, functional standards, data consistency, assess impact, and coordinate and conduct testing.
