Universal Health Services Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery - Per Diem Nights in WILDOMAR, California
Responsibilities
Staff Operating Room Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area (BSP), circumference and volume.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Inland Valley Hospital
This campus of Southwest Healthcare, a 122-bed acute care hospital. Inland Valley is the only hospital in the region to offer Level II Trauma Services, an Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center, the region’s only Total Joint Center now with advanced certification from the Joint Commission for hip and knee surgery as well core certification for shoulder surgery and is a nationally recognized center for weight-loss surgery by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (Also awarded the Blue Distinction for outstanding bariatric surgical services).

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year operating room experience in an acute care setting.
RN's with less than (1) year experience must complete a preceptorship program.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Nurse with current California RN license.Current BLS certification.Current ACLS certificationCurrent PALS certification(Required prior to program start)
