HVAC Installer

Job Description

We are seeking skilled HVAC Installers to join our team for a long-term project in Bear Creek Village, Luzerne County. This project, funded through the Tim Tebow Foundation, involves building a year-round camp for children with special needs and disabilities. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems within large commercial buildings. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for direct employment after a 6-month assignment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings.

• Install, fabricate, and assemble ductwork, ensuring proper connections and support.

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine HVAC and ductwork requirements.

• Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot HVAC and ductwork issues.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including ductwork, compressors, and thermostats.

• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
