Job Summary

The Site Director will be responsible for assisting Dress for Success Luzerne County's Clients who are referred from various referral partner organizations.  Consumers using DfS Luzerne County are in the final preparation for building sustaining careers and require services including, but not limited to clothing selection, internet job searches, building and maintaining electronic versions of job focused resumes.

The Site Director will track information on consumer demographics and center usage and will review services, programs, policies, and practices to better meet the needs of Consumers.

With appropriate guidance, the Site Director will be responsible for Dress for Success Luzerne County meeting all financial, fiscal, legal and moral obligations in the administration of the organization.

Summary of essential job functions

• Will be responsible for managing employees/volunteers within the site.
• Ensures that budgetary regulations are followed.
• Will assist in audits, meetings, calls or other events as required by regulations.
• Cooperates with the Board of Directors in the production of fund-raising events.
• Will develop a grant application strategy to build sustainability of the organization.
• Assists Participants in selecting interview and/or employment clothing appropriate to their targeted career.
• Guarantees that all special clothing requirements are secured and met.
• Oversees record keeping of Client visits and data entry.
• Manages and maintains confidential client data.
• Reviews Client resumes and helps conduct internet job searches.
• Monitors follow-up calls and/or visits with participants.
• Reviews and measures Career Center usage.
• Ensures the work area and boutique are clean, neat, and welcoming.
• May process clothing and product donations as necessary

In Addition

• ll become a brand ambassador for Dress for Success and its mission.
• Will build and/or enhance the programs offered by the organization.

Qualifications

Candidates should be willing to learn and apply knowledge in running a not-for-profit, public relations, customer service, and business appropriate fashion distribution atmosphere.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• A commitment to and understanding of Dress for Success Luzerne County's beneficiaries, preferably based on experience.
• Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Dress for Success Luzerne County's beneficiaries
• Extensive computer skills and the ability to share that knowledge.
• An uncanny sense of responsibility and flexibility

Abilities required:

• The Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds - several times per shift.
• The Candidate must be open to a flexible schedule.
• The preferred Candidate will be proficient in English and Spanish.
